EASE OF USE ..
EXCELLENT, oh my days super easy to use on my Labrador who goes completely scatty using normal nail clippers , she laid down and nuzzled in to me whilst using the grinder , easy to hold lightweight super impressed and well worth the money .!!! She even sat on the floor and I was able to carry on trimming . I only used the low speed but was fine .. 100% easier and I can’t recommend enough. Great quality .! Gets the job done with little to no stress
"It’s not too loud and after the 3rd use our border terrier didn’t even pull his paws away or try to get away like he does with the clippers. His stress level is normally very high when it comes time to get his nails trimmed but this time when we used this file he was very relaxed. Even closed his eyes a few times. Highly recommend! It’s taking a bit of time for me to make sure I’m holding it on the right angle but it’s easy to use and is definitely working to shorten his nails. I would buy again!"

"Nail trims for my 10 year old Golden Retriever are never fun. He doesn't like having his feet handled and I'm extremely nervous about accidentally cutting his nail too short, which is stressful for both of us; I can be hesitant about lining up the clipper and making the cut, so he starts to fidget and then I'm even more anxious. I tried a nail grinder a few years ago but I couldn't get near him with it due to the loud noise, which was on par with his sworn enemy, the hoover.
I took a punt on this after seeing a video in the reviews, which showed that the grinder was surprisingly quiet. When it arrived, I was immediately impressed by the quality and sturdiness of it, and I appreciate that it comes with an optional guard cap, which acts as a guide for positioning the nail and stops any other part of the paw from accidentally coming into contact with the moving grinder.
The most important factor for me was the noise level and I can assure you, this is as a quiet as you'll get. My husband distracted the dog with treats, I used the clipper to get rid of the bulk of the length and, to my shock, the dog didn't bat an eye when I started using the grinder. Going over it bit by bit meant I felt much more in control and his nails are now much shorter and smoother than I can normally achieve with the clipper alone.

Finally something that works!!
My Jack Russell has black nails so I’ve been nervous to clip them. They started getting long and I thought this would be a more gentle approach.
I bought special treats just for when I grind the nails. If the grinder comes out, so does the magical blue treat bag.
I took time to introduce the grinder, I brought it out and gave her treats, let her sniff it, touched her paws with it.
The next day I did the same but also turned it on so she got used to the noise.
The next day I used it.
I struggled a little to get used to positioning but worked it out. I didn’t do much the first day, I moved swiftly between nails and repositioned it to make sure it wasn’t heating her nails up.
She reacted much less than expected. She did pull away at first, I just reassured her and carried on. Lots of treats.
I found the grinder to be effective, I haven’t used it sans cover but it functions well through the cut outs.
I’ve used it a few times now. She knows she’s getting fuss and treats, my partner has held her a few times to get to certain bits but I did also use it alone successfully.

"I have a labrador retriever , the vet didn't tell me he needed to have them cut at his puppy appointments to keep the quicks short, so the nails are thick and long and the quicks are long, and impossible to see because they are black. He HATES having his feet touched. Anyone who tried to clip his nails left him bleeding, so I got a cheaper grinder from a different company. It took about an hour and a half for it to get all his nails back to the quick, and he was upset at the noise, the heat, having me hold his paw, lying on his side and his back... It was horrible having to do it once a week for so long.I bought this one based on reviews, and used it tonight, and it took 15 minutes to get them done. The noise didn't upset him as much, it grinds down super fast on the faster setting, so I was careful to stop when the quick appears. It didn't hear his nails up, either. Afterwards he got the zoomies he was so pleased, and got a big treat.This is honestly a game changer and a life saver, I can do this once a week and get his nails down to a comfortable size once the quicks retract. "Haven’t had it for very long so I can’t speak to longevity but it’s lightweight enough and has a good feel in-hand. It seems sturdy and pretty good value for money; and I love the handy cover as well.
My rescue dog came to us with ridiculously overgrown nails and quicks that are right at the edge. He absolutely HATED having his nails trimmed and would cry at even the sight of clippers. I tried different kinds of nail files, the highest value treats, a grooming harness, and even resorted to using my own e-file - which he just learned to tolerate before it stopped working.
That prompted me to get him his own grinder and this has been a lifesaver! It took a bit of exposure and treats with this in his presence before I was able to use it on him; but after the first paw was done he relaxed and was comfy enough to nap half way through as you can see!
